Role overview

You will support technical due diligence, design reviews and project-delivery assignments across solar PV and battery energy storage projects.

Working alongside experienced consultants and engineers, you will assess technical information, contribute to clear advice and help clients manage projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Support technical due diligence for project development, acquisition and financing.
Review designs, equipment selections, energy-yield assumptions and project documentation.
Contribute to site inspections, construction monitoring and acceptance activities.
Identify technical risks and help develop practical mitigation actions.
Prepare concise technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
Coordinate with developers, investors, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Skills and experience

Essential

What you'll bring

✓A degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, civil or renewable-energy engineering.
✓Relevant experience in solar PV, battery storage or renewable-energy projects.
✓Strong analytical skills and sound engineering judgement.
✓The ability to write clear, accurate and well-structured technical reports.
✓A collaborative approach and confidence communicating with different stakeholders.
✓The right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable

Additional experience

✓Experience in technical advisory, owner's engineering or project development.
✓Knowledge of energy-yield assessment, design review or construction quality assurance.
✓Experience working directly with clients on multi-disciplinary projects.
